About us

Hi there, I’m Tram - founder owner of Mama Mai Cafe. We are a mom & daughter & mother in law immigrant trio with a dream.

What started as weekend cooking sessions between me and my mom, Mai, quickly blossomed into a passion project. Armed with a family recipe bao buns and bold, authentic Vietnamese coffee, we began selling from a small rented kitchen. Eventually, we added banh mi to the mix, then history began.

Soon, words spread. We took Mama Mai to pop-up events around Las Vegas—from Lunar New Year festivals, Moon Festival to local markets—and the response was immensely positive. People weren’t just buying the food and coffee, they were coming for the warmth, the nostalgia, and the story behind every bite.

Now, we’re working hard to reach our goal of building our very first brick-and-mortar cafe in Las Vegas—a place that we could get the community together and share our love for Vietnamese coffee & cuisines.
